Bitcoin’s Trading Days Flip as Crypto Market Cap Hits $4.1T

  • Fridays now show consistent Bitcoin losses, reversing last year’s trends.
  • Sundays deliver strong gains, replacing their historical losing performance.
  • Crypto market cap hits $4.1 trillion, driven by broad participation.

The cryptocurrency market is showing new trading dynamics alongside record-breaking valuations. Bitcoin’s daily performance data indicates an unusual shift in its strongest and weakest trading days. At the same time, the total market capitalization for cryptocurrencies has reached a new all-time high.

Bitcoin Sees Reversal in Day-of-Week Trends

Daan Crypto Trades data shows Bitcoin’s performance last month concentrated sharply on Fridays and Sundays. Fridays consistently showed large losses, while Sundays delivered notable gains. This contrasted with minimal movement on other days.

The data also revealed a reversal of the past year’s trends. Over the previous 12 months, Wednesdays and Fridays had often been the strongest gainers, while Thursdays and Sundays had been the biggest losers.

The latest pattern flips this behavior. Friday moved from being a historically strong day to a losing day. Sunday shifted from a frequent loss day to one posting strong gains.

Crypto Market Capitalization Reaches Record High

Data from Crypto Patel shows that the total cryptocurrency market capitalization has climbed to $4.1 trillion, the highest level ever recorded for the sector. The milestone comes during an ongoing bull run affecting major digital assets.

Reports attribute the surge to growing investor confidence and increased institutional involvement. Retail trading activity has also expanded across major cryptocurrencies. Analysts highlight that positive sentiment remains strong, with traders looking for additional upward momentum.
