Quantum Solutions’ ETH sale activity increased after the Japanese technology company sold another 1,000 ETH for approximately $1.9 million. The transaction occurred at an average price of $1,903 per token, according to a company filing. Quantum Solutions said the proceeds will support its artificial intelligence infrastructure and data centre expansion plans.
The latest transaction reduces Quantum’s Ethereum holdings by nearly 30% since mid-June. Official filings show the company now holds around 4,764.8 ETH, moving behind another Japanese listed firm in corporate Ethereum holdings.
Quantum Solutions ETH Sale Supports AI Infrastructure Plans
The Quantum Solutions ETH sale follows a review of the company’s digital asset management strategy. The firm expects to record a loss of approximately $100,000 from the transaction, which will be reflected in its second-quarter fiscal 2027 results.
Quantum Solutions accumulated most of its Ethereum holdings during the fourth quarter of 2025, when ETH traded between $4,000 and $4,500. With ETH currently near $1,925, the remaining treasury is valued at approximately $9.2 million.
The company expanded its approved ETH sale limit from 1,875 ETH to 4,375 ETH. This allows potential sales of another 2,471 ETH through October 30, although part of the holdings remain pledged as collateral.
Quantum Solutions ETH Strategy Changes With Market Conditions
The Quantum Solutions ETH sale reflects a broader shift among companies managing cryptocurrency reserves. Some firms continue holding digital assets, while others are adjusting positions to fund business operations.
Quantum Solutions has focused on expanding its AI Infrastructure division through data center agreements and GPU equipment investments. The company has not confirmed whether additional ETH sales will occur after the latest transaction.
The move also comes as corporate Ethereum strategies become more selective. While some investors reduce exposure during uncertain market conditions, others continue increasing their ETH positions.
Quantum’s remaining Ethereum treasury indicates that the company continues to hold exposure to the asset while directing additional capital toward artificial intelligence development.
