- EthSystems launches from the Ethereum Foundation Institutional Privacy Task Force.
- Selective disclosure enables compliant and confidential Ethereum transactions for institutions.
- Bitmine, Sharplink, and Joe Lubin back the institutional privacy initiative.
EthSystems has officially launched as a commercial engineering firm focused on improving privacy for institutional Ethereum users. The company emerged from the Ethereum Foundation’s Institutional Privacy Task Force and aims to help banks, asset managers, and regulated firms transact on Ethereum without exposing sensitive financial information. The launch marks another step in Ethereum’s broader push toward enterprise adoption through specialized infrastructure.
EthSystems Introduces Privacy Tools for Institutional Ethereum
EthSystems develops privacy and compliance technology using selective disclosure, allowing participants to reveal only the information required for each transaction. Regulators can access complete records while counterparties view only relevant details.
The platform also supports confidential settlement, private bond issuance, and digital identity solutions directly on Ethereum instead of private blockchain networks.
The company was founded by former Ethereum Foundation researchers Mo Jalil, Oskar Thorén, and Aaryamann Challani. Their work builds on open-source research completed through the Institutional Privacy Task Force before transitioning into an independent commercial venture.
EthSystems Targets the Next 100 Trillion Dollars On-chain
EthSystems begins operations with backing from Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Sharplink, and Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin. Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee said institutional-grade privacy is essential before $100 trillion in traditional assets can migrate to blockchain networks.
He described privacy infrastructure as the missing layer required for regulated institutions to adopt Ethereum at scale.
The launch also strengthens the Ethereum Foundation’s expanding ecosystem of independent organizations. Recent initiatives include the Ethereum Applications Guild, Ethereum Economic Zone, Argot Collective, and Ethereum Institutional, each focused on improving adoption, developer tooling, ecosystem coordination, and enterprise participation.
