Bitcoin Price Drops to $63,400 as Whales Accumulate 19,700 BTC

  • Bitcoin price loses $65,000 as short-term bearish pressure strengthens.
  • Whale wallets add 19,696 BTC while retail dip-buying activity slows.
  • Losing $60,000 could expose the 2026 low and deeper support levels.

Bitcoin price traded near $63,400 after losing more than 2% in 24 hours. The decline followed another failure to hold $65,000, leaving short-term momentum under pressure. However, whale accumulation presents a different signal. Wallets holding 10 to 10,000 BTC added 19,696 BTC within eight days, while the smallest holders reduced their dip-buying activity.

Bitcoin Price Slides as Whale Accumulation Accelerates

According to Luciano_BTC’s post on X, Santiment treats the 10 to 10,000 BTC group as a key stakeholder tier. These wallets often influence supply trends more than smaller accounts. Their latest buying suggests larger holders are absorbing coins while retail participation cools.

That divergence does not guarantee an immediate rebound. Still, it can strengthen supply conditions when buyers move coins away from active trading. Less retail competition may also allow large wallets to build positions without driving Bitcoin price sharply higher.

Policy uncertainty adds another obstacle. Democratic senators said the current Clarity Act text falls short on ethics, consumer protection, illicit finance, and market integrity. Continued negotiations reduce the chance of an immediate regulatory catalyst.

Technical Structure Keeps $60,000 Support in Focus

Bitcoin price now trades below the 50-day exponential moving average near $65,000. The relative strength index also sits below 50, keeping the short-term structure bearish. A recovery must first reclaim $65,000, then clear $67,000.

That resistance combines the June high, the 100-day average, and a falling trendline. A confirmed breakout would create a higher high. It could then expose the 200-day average near $73,500.

On the downside, Bitcoin price has initial support between $62,000 and $65,000. Stronger demand sits near the psychological $60,000 level. Losing that area would expose the 2026 low around $57,700, followed by $55,000 and $50,000.

EGRAG Crypto also places late 2026 within the historical macro-bottom window. Previous cycle lows arrived 914 to 1,003 days after their halvings. Bitcoin price is also nearing the monthly 50-SMA to 88-SMA zone, where earlier cycle bottoms formed.
