The latest purchase extends BitMineās Ethereum accumulation strategy that began in June 2025. Chairman Tom Lee said the company has continued adding ETH for 65 consecutive weeks.
BitMine now holds the largest corporate Ethereum position globally. The company also owns 211 Bitcoin, an $180 million stake in Beast Industries, and an $81 million stake in Eightco Holdings.
The company reported total crypto assets, cash, and marketable securities of $15.6 billion as of August 30. Cash and marketable securities accounted for $541 million of the total balance.

Tom Lee said Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana ranked among the strongest-performing assets since June 30. He also pointed to institutional crypto demand and Ethereum adoption trends.
Meanwhile, Ethereum price continues to face resistance near the $2,550 level. Analyst Ted said a weekly move above that zone could open the path toward $2,800, while a drop below $2,370 may expose lower support.
BitMineās Ethereum Treasury strategy places the company close to its stated goal of holding 5% of Ethereum supply. The firm currently controls about 4.9% of ETH supply after the latest acquisition.
