- Phantom Sui support ends September 24, but user assets remain safely onchain.
- Holders can migrate to Slush or swap SUI into a supported Phantom asset.
- SUI trades near $0.82 while network TVL remains roughly 82% below its peak.
Phantom will end Phantom Sui support on September 24, 2026, one month after announcing the transition. SUI traded near $0.81 following the news, avoiding an immediate sell-off. Phantom says user funds remain secure because assets stay recorded on the Sui blockchain. Holders can move their credentials or swap into another supported asset.
Phantom Sui Support Ends With Two Migration Options
After the deadline, Phantom Sui support will stop showing balances, processing transactions, and connecting users with Sui applications. Phantom will remove Sui from its network list.
Native SUI holders can import their recovery phrase into a compatible application. Phantom recommends Slush, the Sui Foundation’s preferred wallet. This Sui wallet migration can occur anytime.
Phantom users can instead swap native SUI into supported assets. Swap fees into wrapped SUI on Solana are waived until September 24. Network and exchange charges apply.
Wrapped SUI operates on Solana, not Sui. Therefore, holders should verify the network and token before approving transactions.
The Phantom Sui support transition creates phishing risks. Phantom will never request recovery phrases or contact users about migrations. Replacement wallets should come only from official websites.
SUI Price Holds While Network Liquidity Stays Reduced
SUI traded around $0.82, gaining roughly 1.8% over 24 hours. The announcement caused no immediate broad sell-off.
A Sui wallet migration does not automatically increase exchange supply. Pressure may rise if holders convert SUI into SOL, ETH, or USDC.
Meanwhile, DefiLlama places Sui TVL near $468.68 million. That level sits about 82% below the October 2025 peak near $2.58 billion. Phantom has not linked its decision to liquidity.
Despite lower Sui TVL, network applications generated about $115,582 in daily fees. The Sui base layer generated roughly $5,265 during the same period.
The Phantom Sui support deadline could increase volatility if exchange deposits and sell volume rise. Traders can monitor liquidity, transfers, and $0.80 through September.
Phantom and Sui jointly agreed on the change while leaving room for future collaboration. The Phantom Sui support exit reverses an integration launched in January 2025.
