- Knowledge Studio defines policy controls, while Ask GSmart lets finance teams query treasury data through conversation.
- Ripple reports Risk Insights adoption at 60% of eligible customers, compared with 44% for Forecast Insights.
Ripple Treasury announced it expanded its GSmart AI capabilities on September 10, adding policy controls across core corporate finance functions. The update covers forecasting, liquidity, risk, reconciliation and reporting, while keeping financial approvals with authorized employees.
According to the company, GSmart already operates across its enterprise customer base. Its agents analyze treasury information, explain recommendations and cite relevant policies before requesting approval.
Ripple Treasury Separates AI Analysis From Calculations
GSmart uses deterministic engines to perform financial calculations. Its AI layer interprets company policies, identifies patterns and explains proposed actions.
Each specialized agent monitors a defined treasury function. When it recommends an action, the system can identify the policy clause that supports it.
Ripple Treasury places these controls within Knowledge Studio, where teams define organizational rules and permissions. Proposed actions undergo policy checks before reaching a person for review.
Meanwhile, Analytics Studio includes Ask GSmart, a conversational interface for retrieving treasury information. Users can ask questions in everyday language instead of building separate reports.
The structure gives employees supporting information before they approve a financial action. GSmart does not receive independent authority to execute transactions.
Enterprise Adoption Reaches 60% for Risk Monitoring Tools
Ripple Treasury reports that 60% of customers eligible for Risk Insights have enabled the feature. It identifies unusual exposures and potential policy breaches.
Forecast Insights has reached 44% of eligible customers, according to the announcement. That feature compares predicted cash flows with actual results to identify emerging liquidity gaps.
The company presents these percentages as adoption measures for individual features, rather than its entire customer base. Neither figure measures improvements in forecasting accuracy or reductions in financial losses.
Ripple Treasury grew out of GTreasury, which Ripple acquired in 2025. The company reports more than $13 trillion in platform transaction value that year across over 1,000 customers.
That transaction figure covers treasury activity through the former GTreasury business. It does not represent XRP settlement volume.
